There is no particular name for the Savage in Germany, just Savage or LS.

The german translation of the word Savage is "wild" or "primitiv", as the term would be used for primitive people somewhere in the deepest jungles of Africa or Brazil. I guess that is what the folks at Suzuki had in mind: something very basic and simple, yet not necessarily "dangerous" and somewhat sophisticated within itīs very own range.
The name fits to the bike as it can be a very reliable friend if treated well, but lots of misunderstanding between you and the bike if mistreated.
